“I’m running the ferry, but I don’t know where I’m going.”
Posted in Uncategorized on October 2nd, 2008 by Bigwig – Be the first to commentObviously, the ferry system needs to fall back to the unofficial “bring me a six pack and you can drive the ferry policy” followed back in the ’80s. There would at least be a larger potential pool of pilots in case of emergency.

September Kiva
Posted in Uncategorized on September 9th, 2008 by Bigwig – 1 CommentNo choices in the September Kiva–the site has become so popular that there were only two loans to fund when Ngnat and I signed on. Since Kiva has also started to pay us back from our initial loans earlier in the year, we were able to fund both Haydee Luz Aparicio Quispe and Irma Castillo Chihua of Peru. Shortly thereafter Kiva ran out of people to loan to. It’s been that way ever since.
Birthday Bunny
Posted in Uncategorized on August 13th, 2008 by Kehaar – 3 CommentsHappy Birthday to our very own Bigwig. Bigwig turns older today though, honestly, I’ve lost count on which one this might be. I can barely remember my own age any more. Happy Birthday, Brother. Hope you have a good one.
Never Apologize, Never Explain
Posted in Uncategorized on August 6th, 2008 by Bigwig – 1 CommentAs part of…..Bible School, or Father’s Day, or some such occasion, Ngnat presented her mother and I with a number of coupons good for various things, such as “A big hug,” or “Cleaning my room.” Very cute.
One was for “Seding the Table.” Even Cuter!
So last night, I redeemed it, giving it back to her with an attached note, which read “echo table | sed s/table/”table with plates, utensils and glasses”/
Neither she nor the Sainted Wife thought it was as funny as I did.
