I suspect that the reason why the FTC doesn’t protect you as a business is because you sort of have a duty as a business to take telemarketing calls… along with calls from your own clients, calls from your own business partners, and even calls complaining about you (not that I’m saying that’s happened to you but that generally happens in business).

You are right though to complain that telemarketers need to be more honest about what they’re calling for and who they represent (and yes, some of them do just that).

Then again, I can’t say those who applaud the use of internet and email ads to ‘talk’ to their clients should turn a blind eye to parallel issues. Surely you’d do the same to the spammer from an unknown website advertising the same viagra tripe. I would (heck I’d be angrier as my computer has suffered more attacks from them than my cellphone has ever suffered from telemarketers).

Just found a typed paper from JAMES CANNON, STAFF Correspondent; WE WEREN’T TO BLAME, THEY SAID, WHEN SLAVES DIED. 10 aPRIL 1945

Tells a story of the Mayor of Ohrdruf, concentration camp, etc…. very interesting paper, Mentions Col, Hayden Sears, of Boston, Commander of CC “A” 4th Armored Division.
Does anyone know if this is a original typed paper from James Cannon, from STARS AND STRIPES?
I would love and I would love to give it to it’s proper owner…. family member ect……
I am also trying to give my 1970ish POW bracelet to the family of L/C Philip Craig, who died in the Viet Nam war.
If anyone can help, please let me know.
