Bible School Ends Tonight
We’re busy baking for the covered dish supper it concludes with. SW made a spaghetti bake. I made
Bacon chocolate chip cookies with maple cinnamon glaze.
So far, they meet with the fullhearted approval of Ngnat and Scotty. The Sainted Wife, who has a firmer line set in her mind on the subject of foods that should not be combined, views them with some suspicion.
Bacon makes everything better.
I agree they are most likely delicious, but I will leave the baking of them to you. My arteries are sufficiently clogged. I did attend a luncheon today which required my bringing food. I took a pie, a salad, and a batch of Pig Candy. The salad was ok, the pie was good, but the Pig Candy was a real hit. Yum!
I agree with the motto of the Bacon Salt company- “Everything Should Taste Like Bacon” and consider it to be forehead-slappingly obvious; therefore, your cookies may be the best thing ever eaten.
