Environmentalists don't hate people. We hate people who hate the environment. We should love our planet and respect it. We should keep our wild lands wild and not build on every last acre of land. We should respect all our creatures and natural habitats on this planet. It is the only home we have. And we are destroying it. I am not a complete nut job. I just care about our home-planet and wish more people would do the same. We have a climate crisis to solve people and drilling for oil is not the way to solve it. Environmentalists don't hate America or people. We just want to help the environment the right way. Continuing our oil addiction will get us nowhere, Gas prices will continue to skyrocket over $5 a gallon and we wont see any profit from the drilling while countless acres of once pristine wild wilderness will be ripped up. New Dirty coal plants will also ruin wild lands that should be protected. We have technology today to turn to clean alternative energy such as solar, wind and plug in electric and hybrid vehicles, nuclear energy and hydrogen cars. We should do these things now and pass a comprehensive alternative energy bill and hydrogen infrastructure/vehicles plan bill by 2015 ....and work to cut emissions by 90% by 2050. Only by doing this will we solve the climate crisis and the gas crisis. We cannot drill our way out of this problem I totally disagree with you. Environmentalists don’t hate people.
