I have a friend being recruited by Amerisciences to sell nutritional supplements for a living. Anybody know anything about this company? Is it a multi-level marketing company? Anybody had success or not with this company? I told her I’d do a little research. She’s hearing some good things, obviously. I am looking for the other side of the coin. Thanks in advance.

There appears to be nothing shady about the company, but there are some warning flags.
1) Their supplements are expensive, often 50-100% above the going rate, with no evidence that they are anything special.
2) It’s multi-level marketing. There’s nothing inherently wrong with MLM, but you should really know what you’re getting into. The most common outcome when someone gets into an MLM deal is that they run out of enthusiasm before they sell their initial shipment of product. I’d put this likelihood at upwards of 80%.
If your friend has the personality and enthusiasm for this kind of business, she should give it a shot.
Most likely she’ll be giving you a few bottles of free supplements six months from now, though.

The other thing to bear in mind is that some MLM companies auto ship huge amounts of stuff and subscribe you to strange sales classes — basically, the lower level victims are supporting the upper guys out of pocket whether they sell anything or not.

I use some of there products and they are very good. The best thing to do is try some of the products and see for yourself.

Great benefits i had experince with this products. Getting into the ball game, “be a leader”.

The products are among the best in the market. Yes, they are a little pricy, but worth every penny. Typically MLM products tend to be higher, but in this case my experience has been that the pharmaceutical quality and the real benefits more than make up for it.
7 November 2008, 1:03 pmKnowing people who have had much success with AmeriSciences, what I can say is that they treat it like a professional business venture - not an “easy money, work in your pajamas” opportunity. It takes work, dedication, and clear business plan.
