I was cleaning my house yesterday in preparation for my big move to Atlanta and came across an old wallet in a box of stuff. In it I found an old fortune-cookie fortune that read “Old Friends Are Coming Back to You Soon”. The fortune is probably four years old but it certainly seems to be ringing true in the last few weeks. At least three Camp Don Lee friends that I haven’t heard from in many years have found their way to my email over the last two weeks.
The latest is from good friend Janet who sends a link pictures of her children. She has a new young one, Sophia. It’s been so long since we talked that she actually questioned whether I would remember her or not! Of course I remember you, Janet! I always will. I will always remember, for example, how you bit me on the nipple the very first day I knew you. I think I still have a mark.
