Warcraft: End Game
I quit cold turkey 4 months ago, with the intent of making my guild learn how to function without me. Now that they can, I’m slowly coming back.
It’s good to be back on the Horse.
Not a lot of time this morning so I’m going to do my best to get right into the Carnival entries this week. I’ve been editing the Carnival over the past few weeks and I think it has done well. I typically receive something like 25 to 30 entries. I got about 27 this week and without further delay, I’ll present the ones I think best represent the Carnival of the Vanities.

It was really a toss-up in my mind as to which of those posts were the most creative and entertaining but Stephen wins for his brutal honesty.

I really want to know where Big Picture Guy works. He serializes events at his workplace over at BigPictureSmallOffice.com. It’s like “The Office” on a blog. His latest post is on class consciousness at the workplace.

Batya refused to speak English as she talks about Simchat Torah. In truth, I have no idea whether this is worthy of CoTV. I can’t even tell if the words she uses are real or made up. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt. As we say here in the South, “Shalom, ya’ll!” (I have to give the nod to Bigwig for that one.)
Francois Tremblay points out the Propaganda in Anti-Smoking Campaigns and talks about the evils of activism. I personally found his argument to be a little weak. He talks about a smokers freedom to choose to smoke but dismisses the non-smokers right to choose not smoking. The research he cites is also old. Lastly, he seems to promote the tyranny of the minority. Check it out and see what you think.
