Call them stereotypes if you like, but various groups of people gain the reputation for doing certain things well (i.e. Germans make cars, Italians cook, Catholic priests do… various things).
It led me to wonder what is it that modern day muslims do better than anyone else. They don’t build things or manufacture things. They aren’t producing scientists or writers. They don’t waste their time accumulating patents, or engaging in most of the activities we infidels refer to as “civilization.” So what do they do well? There must be something.
The answer recently became obvious. No one takes offense like modern day muslims.
Make an unpopular comment while speaking at a university?
Publish the wrong cartoon?
Make the unforgivable error of calling a spade a spade?
Make a critical blog statement?
Rev up the jihad. Prepare to see your effigy, your flag and your embassy on fire, all in the name of the Religion of Peace.
It’s not quite as good as inventing the steam engine, but at least they can hang their hats on something.
