For the second time in four years, the master angler from the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo has been stripped of his title following an “unfavorable” polygraph test.
Charlie Jackson, who was originally crowned champion of the 74th annual event on Sunday, said he lost the crown after questions on a polygraph test revealed that he wasn’t sure who caught what fish.
“Charlie Jackson, the master angler, had unfavorable results on the polygraph,” said Mike Thomas, rodeo president. “Unfortunately, he has been disqualified. Don Thompson is our new master angler.”
Stupid. The only thing a polygraph test proves is tha the person(s) relying on it is/are too dumb to be in charge of anything.
