Newspapers Republish Muhammad Caricatures.
I’ve been following this story with some interest over the months. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the war between Islam and the Danes, here’s the essential story: a Danish newspaper published 12 cartoons depicting the Islamic prophet Muhammed/Mohammed. Evidently, in Islam, that’s a big no-no. Islamists the world over are up in arms, literally.
It appears that the battle is joined. Papers in France and Germany are weighing in and republishing the original cartoons. This should be interesting.
