The New York Times’ European subsidiary gives us an idea on how to rebuild the World Trade Center in such a way, so that it doesn’t get attacked again, and doesn’t offer offense to the rest of the world: simply build it so that it doesn’t stand taller than any of the surrounding buildings.

Come to think of it, that’s the Eurointelligentsia’s advice to the U.S. on pretty much everything – “don’t do anything to stand out.” Oh well.
