The top five North Carolina saltwater fish.
And I knew this made sense, though it didn’t produce any fish for me from Woundwort’s boat.
The same is true for inside fishing in the shallower water, where anglers use Carolina rigs while allowing baits to drag behind a boat on an incoming or outgoing tide at the inlets, or with the wind in a bay. Some anglers use Carolina rigs or variations of them to troll for flounder in areas where there is no water movement.

The weekend was full, that’s for sure. Still trying to catch back up, in fact, which explains the cobwebs on the site. Thankfully, Sunday was mostly uneventful, at least until the Father-in-law, hereafter referred to as “Radar,” backed into the minivan on his way to the grocery store. Fortunately, he’s also our insurance agent. Should’ve seen the look on his face when I asked if this was going to increase our rates.
Apparently it takes longer than 50 years for Mississippi to put its past behind it. Emmett Till’s murder investigation will apparently be reopened, even though the principals in the case have all passed on. Perhaps this time the findings will be different.
