Still Climbing
Posted in Uncategorized on February 14th, 2004 by Kehaar – Comments OffIn a day, the number of Kerry affair stories have grown from 597 to 740. Not a large jump in number, but the story is now appearing in the mainstream American press.
The Telegraph has posted a picture of Alex Polier, along with a quote from a friend.
“This is not going to go away,” one American friend of Miss Polier said yesterday. “What actually happened is much nastier than is being reported.”
Polier is apparently staying at the home of her fiance’s parents in Nairobi, Kenya. Curiously, she and her fiance are refusing to comment on the story rather than issue a denial. (Or confirmation, for that matter, but wouldn’t most people just deny that they had sex with John Kerry if it never happened?) And wouldn’t most “friends” just keep their mouths shut instead of issuing inflammatory statements to the press?
